About Brandon Becnel

Born and raised in South Louisiana, my family has deep roots in the River Parishes dating back to 1737. Over the past 26 years, our Edward Jones business has evolved into our team helping our clients understand what is most important to them and providing custom strategies to help achieve their goals. I am passionate about partnering with clients who wish to live their purpose, who want to thrive financially and who find value in my advice. As a young entrepreneur mowing lawns and working in our family trucking business Beck Stein Service, I made my first mutual fund investment in July of 1987, which helped me understand the opportunity of a down market in October of 1987. The cardinal rule of investing is buy low and sell high, and sometimes, be patient and buy more. Soon after graduating in business finance from Louisiana State University in 1998, I began my wonderful and exciting career here at Edward Jones. I hold my Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66 securities registrations. In 2022, I earned my CEPA® designation. This allows me to work with business owners and team with other professionals to build plans for their exit strategies. As a financial advisor and an ambassador of our strong culture, I have held several leadership roles. Since October of 2019, I have been the regional leader of region 340. In 2021, I became a general partner of the firm. My responsibilities include leading all branch team offices from Denham Springs along I-12 to Slidell as well as Laplace. This allows me to help other branch teams change lives in South Louisiana with greater impact ensuring a lasting legacy to the great state of Louisiana. Our branch team includes Associate Financial Advisor Quinn Morvant, and Branch Office Administrators Amber Townsend and Kim Breaux with a combined eight years of service experience. They are here to help us provide first class service to our clients. I am proud and grateful to have both of them on our team. I have been married to my loving wife, Heather, for 23 years. We have four children: Chelsea, Kaylea, Hunter and Luke. Most recently, we were blessed with our first grandson, Ballard, who loves his PAW. Offering my family new opportunities and providing a high quality of life for them is my motivation.
