About Brandon Ashley

With over 17 years of Congressional and federal agency service in the Washington, DC area, I have tremendous insight into the inner workings of our federal government. I have years of experience conducting investigative, legislative, and oversight hearings in Congress. I have overseen at least $50 billion in revenue and appropriations for federal programs and services. Additionally, I have experience and brought solutions to the bureaucratic and regulatory process by working with and for federal agencies.

   Engages and interacts with college executives on crafting, designing, and directing projects that embody the principles of the college\'s mission of success by providing positive experiences for our students and community members, particularly the Native American communities• Meets and advises Native American students and their student clubs on personal and club growth• Engages with tribal community leaders, elders, and elected officials on a variety of community issues and topics• Attends and presents at Navajo Chapter houses to promote the San Juan College Native American initiatives, including recruitment efforts• Designs and directs the annual gourd dance and powwow, Ms. Indigenous pageant, and Native American Heritage Month activities, and other cultural activities for the college• Actively participates in the Professional Staff Association (elected Treasurer: 2024-25); and the Enrollment Mangement Team
