ABOUT BRANDON ALVES

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy who has a passion for the business of helping people. Growing up in a household that moved often taught me the importance of making meaningful connections with people quickly. In the modern community pharmacy where patient interactions are often brief, this especially holds true as we try to convey important information in a small window of time. People are seldom in contact with us for long, so making the most of every encounter is crucial. This is the attitude I have brought with me throughout my career as a Pharmacist. I have extensive experience in collaborating with people from diverse schools of thought to reach a common objectives, and I strive to use this experience to improve patient healthcare outcomes in the community.I have over five years of community pharmacy experience that includes over 2 years of managing pharmacies in widely different demographic areas. I also have several years of leadership and event planning experience that required me to work with a variety of individuals to reach common objectives. I have a passion for executing plans and working with people to accomplish mutual goals whether that be in regards to business, large scale event planning or patients taking their medications properly. This ability to execute a plan with people from different backgrounds is what I bring to the table in the pharmacy or in any organization. My specialties include medication counseling, problem solving, recruitment, and patient education.
