As a Staff Therapist at The Josselyn Center, I am responsible for delivering individual psychotherapy to a diverse caseload across developmental stages, utilizing evidence-based modalities including play therapy, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, complete IMCANS and Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) documentation within required timeframes, and maintain accountability for all clinical, administrative, quality, and compliance responsibilities, including timely progress note documentation.I provide coordination of care and case management services, connecting clients and families with mental health, medical, housing, and financial resources, while facilitating collateral communication and client-centered consultation among families, school systems, and community providers. In addition to my individual caseload, I have served as a group therapy clinician for Camp Neeka, a therapist-directed therapeutic day camp serving children ages 7–16. In this role, I help to facilitate social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons and therapeutic groups across age cohorts, targeting the development of coping skills, communication strategies, self-esteem, and interpersonal growth within a safe and supportive camp environment. Camp programming integrates art therapy, movement therapy, gym activities, and recreational experiences to promote social and emotional well-being. I also facilitate parent support groups held concurrently during camp hours, designed to equip caregivers with the skills and strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress in the home setting.

Brandon Scott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University and a Master of Social Work from Smith College School of Social Work. Brandon brings over five years of clinical experience across community-based mental health, school-based, and outpatient settings. He currently serves as a Staff Therapist at The Josselyn Center, where he works with a diverse caseload with a particular passion for serving children, adolescents, and young adults. Brandon is actively working toward his certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), reflecting his deep commitment to developmentally attuned, creative, and strengths-based therapeutic practice.Brandon\'s clinical interests center on working with BIPOC children, adolescents, and young adults within marginalized communities, providing accessible, culturally attuned, and strengths-based interventions and mental health resources. His trauma-informed, relational framework is shaped both by his clinical training and his own lived experiences navigating systemic challenges, including racism, food insecurity, and housing instability, and perhaps more importantly, by the protective factors that allowed him to not only survive but thrive. A school social worker who recognized his struggles and connected him with community resources. Educators who identified his learning differences and advocated fiercely for his potential. Mentorship programs that opened doors and expanded his sense of what was possible.Brandon\'s mission is to hold and create spaces of joy, creativity, and playfulness for communities that are too often deprived of them. He believes that centering joy and genuine connection in therapeutic work with youth is not only good clinical practice, it is an act of resistance.
