About Brandi Shailer
I lead the AI+Data Content Strategy team at LinkedIn Learning where we empower professionals to share their knowledge with the world. With over 20+ years of experience in content strategy, tech content development, and management, this is the most exciting time of my career as we navigate AI together. An aspiring professor early in my career, I quickly learned that creating the learning experience was my true passion - and each job since has been scaling my impact to reach more learners and change more lives. Learning changes lives. It\'s an honor to be part of that change.I have a proven track record of implementing in-platform practices through strategic partnerships to increase content engagement and upskill professionals in ever-changing skills. I also have a strong background in diversity and inclusion, having led instructor inclusion efforts across multiple content verticals. I know how to work with others to get things done. Relationships and trust unlock innovation.I am passionate about creating high-quality, data-informed content. I love spending time in data and extracting the storytelling and actions that derive from it. Even moreso, I love leading my team. I always have a leadership book in progress, so hit me up with your favorite! The most powerful advice I\'ve taken are from Simon Sinek\'s Start with Why and the lessons of Compassionate Accountability from Jeff Weiner. I keep those lessons close. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language from Baylor University, a Certificate of Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, and an InnerMBA from New York University. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, and I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills and knowledge. Currently, I\'m working on sharper AI skills and picking up French via Duolingo to keep pace with my daughter.
