About Brandi Hamilton
I am an artist and studio owner working with assemblage, material intelligence, and system memory, drawing on a background in military satellite and communications systems.My practice focuses on how objects carry function, history, and latent meaning, and how complex technical systems can be translated into physical form. Using salvaged and repurposed materials, I create commissioned works that invite pattern recognition, ambiguity, and sustained attention rather than immediate resolution.I am actively developing site-responsive and installation-based work for civic and institutional environments, building toward permanent public installations. My current practice includes personal and private-collector commissions, as well as exhibition-based work in public-facing venues, including the Colorado Springs Airport.In addition to my studio practice, I founded Bricolage Gallery, a local platform for material-driven exhibitions and community-facing programs.Current and developing work includes:• Personal and private-collector commissions• Exhibition-based and site-responsive projects• Civic and institutional installations (in development)Based in Texas and Colorado.
