An energetic and dynamic cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of experience leading business and technology teams. My background includes supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Assessments, Risk Mitigation, and Threat Intelligence. I am continually researching and learning to quickly understand new threats, components, and technologies. As an IT project manager, I manage requirements, mitigate risks, and work closely with project stakeholders. I also leverage my business background to work closely with cross-functional teams of both technical and non-technical staff. ACCOMPLISHMENTSSome of my key accomplishments include the following:• Building virtual servers and networks in the Azure cloud to test web server vulnerabilities. • Performing penetration testing and network analyses to validate results, including network traffic. • Conducting internal security controls audits and using results to make continual process improvements. • Streamlining regulatory compliance and risk management processes, including ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR. • Designing and building dashboards using Splunk and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). • Leveraging the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to update policies, procedures, and controls.
