As General Manager for the Edwardsville Mixing Center, I oversee all aspects of the business for the merchandising display assembly/contract packaging operation located within the Procter and Gamble (P&G) distribution facility. I am responsible for 75 full time employees (5 direct reports) and an average of 200 – 300 temporary associates.When I joined the team, the facility had been in a constant state of change as they had come through frequent management changes during the history of the site. This had resulted in, the once top performing sites, declining to the bottom in all aspects of the operation (culture, safety, quality, and productivity).Accomplishments:• Focused effort on ensuring that we had the \"right people in the right seats on the bus\" from a leadership perspective.• Developing a strong leadership team with a focus on employee engagement, culture, and continuous improvement.• Developing and implementing a continuous improvement structure focused on sustainable employee driven initiatives, resulting in over in savings for FY19• Complete overhaul of our safety management system, building a highly engaged safety culture and stringent compliance with all OSHA requirements• Increased EBITDA 37% in less than 2 years• Successfully lead team in transition to a new warehouse management system (from AS400 to Nulogy PackManager)
