Liaison between injured workers, supervisors, management, and insurer for workplace injuries including rst report of injury notication to insurer, accident investigation, claim monitoring, job injury leave, FMLA, and return to work coordination.• Collaborates with Department/Office, Division management, supervisors, and employees to construct, deliver, and promote programs and services on various safety programs to mitigate worker injury.• Develops, recommends, and implements accident prevention and safety programs, policy, and procedures (at a countywide, Department, Office, or Division level), including but not limited to re safety, ergonomics, falls, personal protective equipment selection and usage, accident and injury investigation, heavy equipment usage, safe driving, respiratory protection, trenching, lock out tag out, roadway safety, hazardous materials compliance, exposure monitoring • Supports Countywide Safety Committees, any departmental subcommittees, and the Hazardous Materials Committee. • Develop and implement training topics, research materials, loss history records, educate employees on safe workplace practices and reduction of injuries.• Develops monthly, quarterly, and annual safety program/training goals, objectives and plans. Identies and calculates safety program success measurements.• Conducts safety risk assessments including job design and work process, auto driving behavior, eld evaluations, and hazard identication. Completes compliance reviews and reports to management.• Analyzes claims data to identify patterns. Develop, plan, and conduct accident prevention and safety training targeted at risk patterns and trends.• Collaborates Departments and Offices to document, monitor, and resolve any indoor air quality concerns or complaints.• Manages the county AED program including conducting inspections, purchasing supplies, coordinating training.• May perform functions related to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
