Primarily responsible for reviewing exceptions related to pension corrections for over 40, CPS employees.\\\\nPrepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments\\\\nAnalyze compensation-related data including wages, retro, bonuses, and stipends\\\\nReview payroll transactions and related exception reports to ensure anomalies are researched, explained, and/or resolved.\\\\nWorks directly with Chicago Teachers Pension Fund (CTPF) to resolve any discrepancies related to pension deductions EE/ER.\\\\nVerify all employees have accurate pension contributions during payroll processing, to ensure accurate reporting to the pension fund.\\\\nEmployer data review and data audit functions in collaboration with external auditors along with assessing the root-cause analysis for addressing data discrepancies, ensures adherence to project plans and agreed timelines and ensures audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Accomplishes department objectives by planning, monitoring, and meeting deadlines, provides guidance to team members regarding employer audit objectives and data accuracy as needed.\\\\nUsing the time and attendance system (kronos), e-Labor, review time-sheets and transactions for accuracy in accordance with CPS pay policy.\\\\nInspecting standard reports, determining and correcting any out-of-balance conditions and researching tier II cases for resolution.\\\\nPreparing audit reports and time and attendance summary reports.\\\\nProviding email and phone support for school employees and managers’ questions.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
