School districts are being asked to govern artificial intelligence faster than they ever have, often without clarity about ownership, authority, or accountability.That is where I work.I am Brandee Jones, M.Ed, Founder and Executive Director of Moxie Consulting Firm, LLC, and author of AI Leadership in Action (forthcoming). I work with school boards, superintendents, and district leadership teams to design clear and defensible AI governance structures that extend beyond compliance language and tool adoption.With more than 25 years inside K to 12 systems, I understand how leadership decisions actually move or stall in schools and districts. My work focuses on governance clarity, decision rights, and implementation that protects people, trust, and systems.I am currently a doctoral student in the Chief Learning Officer program at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, where my research centers on organizational leadership and learning, human centered AI leadership, and sustainable professional learning systems.AI leadership is not a technology problem.It is a leadership and governance opportunity.That is what I help districts solve.
