About Brandalyn Bickner

I\'m an internationally experienced communications professional who specializes in digital content strategy, public relations and press outreach. My previous work in social media, design, blogging and photography has allowed me to become well-rounded in the communications sector. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, I\'m passionate about intercultural communications, and particularly enjoy building brand awareness for organizations with missions that promote positive social change, champion diplomacy and advance civil rights. In 2018, I was the recipient of the U.S. Ambassador to Malawi\'s U.S. Mission Malawi Meritorious Honor Award for developing innovative outreach strategies and introducing new communications tools at my Peace Corps post in Malawi, Africa. In 2023, I received the Chair\'s Circle of Excellence Award for my work as a part of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) implementation team at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
