Designed and developed ML based Device Spoofing bot detection algorithm (handles ~30% of bots detectedon platform). Worked with engineering to develop generic ML infrastructure for detection.Researched newer (waiting for Provisional Patent) method of forecasting customer traffic and anomalies during sales, promotion style events. Developed multiple Reactive detection algorithms to look for bots’ signals across ~18 attributes dynamically and automatically create custom blocking rules. Coordinated across multiple Product Mgt and Engg teams to develop a technical long-term roadmap for Arkose Bot Detect system. Helped architect system for enhanced data collection efforts such as Arkose Cookies and Network-level data that will help in analyzing sophisticated bots’ ecosystem. Mentored team members to understand web security as well as bot ecosystem as well as evolution of bot attack techniques and their defense.
