ABOUT BRAHAM MOONDI
Braham is BDO Canada\'s Assurance leader of the Private Equity practice with over 13 years of experience in public practice providing accounting, assurance and advisory services to large private and public companies (both domestic and international) within technology and media, automotive/dealership, and energy/utility industries.Braham has significant IFRS and US GAAP consulting experience and has assisted clients with transitioning their financial statements to these frameworks. Additionally, Braham leads several of the Firm’s large and complex assurance engagements for entities reporting under ASPE, IFRS and US GAAP. She also has extensive experience with go-public transactions, complex accounting treatments including complex revenue recognition – incl. complex SaaS type arrangements, business combinations, power purchase arrangements, foreign consolidations, lease arrangement structures, and debt/equity arrangements. Braham is actively involved in providing advisory services regarding impact of new and upcoming accounting standards to clients and leads several internal firm training initiatives regarding the same. Further, she is a key member of BDO’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Healthcare group. Her network includes technology companies at emerging, private-equity backed and publicly-listed stages.
