ABOUT BRAEDEN ROSE
I’m a WashU sophomore double majoring in biochemistry and anthropology with a minor in French. I’m particularly interested in genetics and genomics, human-pathogen co-evolution, primate endocrinology and immunology, and vaccine development. More broadly, I’m interested in the interactions between biology, culture, and environment and how they impact our health. I have experience with laboratory techniques such as PCR, gene annotation, electron microscopy, petri plating, and pipetting through my participation in the SEA-PHAGES program where I also became experienced in working with bacteria and bacteriophages. I am currently interested in perusing an MD/PhD, combining my passion for medicine with my research interests.
