During my time as a Gilstrap Summer Program Student, I shadowed a variety of clinics/locations throughout the Texas Medical Center and UTHealth Houston network with a focus on the OB/GYN Speciality. Each week, I worked with a new team and had the opportunity to see new patients in Inpatient, Outpatient, and hospital clinics, along with a variety of surgeries, and see what the life of a medical student, resident, and attending physician would look like.
