I’ve owned consulting companies, led environmental groups and political campaigns, and worked as an engineer and manager in startups and major corporations on software teams tackling and solving core challenges of the business. I love building software and teams to excel in those critical yet sometimes hidden spaces where neither opportunities nor risks can afford to be missed, bridging organizations and disciplines towards common purpose. Projects include: Microsoft’s first migration of.NET to open source platforms, Amazon’s first use of customer-provided and Amazon-produced video and other branded marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, building or fixing a variety of tier-1 front-end platforms to improve Amazon’s security, availability, developer experience, and scalability, creating the software systems used to make Amazon\'s \"Climate Pledge\" possible, and owning for a few years Amazon\'s internal migration to AWS. I’m currently a senior manager in AWS, where my teams make the software used by engineers across Amazon to build on Salesforce, to build AWS systems interfacing with Salesforce, and the financial governance and operational oversight of Salesforce usage.
