Assists volunteers with suicide assessment of respective callers, as well as mitigation and integration of community resources including mobile crisis teams, designated crisis responders, and referrals to both ED and further police investigation. Manages the professional line to offer clinicians direct access to these previously-mentioned referrals. Assists screeners in pipelining crisis calls to the appropriate venues. Trains new volunteers being inducted through our volunteer-training program(s). 30 hrs/week.
