About Brady Robinson
I’m a software engineer with an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where I focused on computing systems. My path into software started in academia—I was a PhD student studying how the brain processes language using MRI data. That experience sparked my interest in using data to solve broader questions, which led me to transition from research to industry.I began analyzing speech data, building tools for automated scoring and annotation. Over time, my work evolved into large-scale data analysis and management of news data at Bloomberg, where I now develop full-stack applications and data pipelines for mutual funds and ETFs in Python and TypeScript. I’ve helped migrate legacy systems into microservice-based architectures, designed ETL pipelines, and built tools that improve data quality and system transparency.I enjoy solving problems at the intersection of data engineering and software design.
