General Leadership • Support the President and assume their duties in their absence. • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Board and chapter members. • Help enforce chapter bylaws, policies, and procedures.Chapter Operations • Oversee the operations of committees and ensure their goals align with the chapter’s mission. • Manage and track progress on chapter-wide goals and initiatives. • Assist in creating and maintaining the chapter’s annual calendar.Membership Development • Facilitate member engagement and participation in chapter events. • Oversee new member education alongside the New Member Educator.Event Planning and Oversight • Work with the Social Chair to plan chapter events, mixers, and philanthropy activities. • Ensure compliance with university, national, and risk management policies during events.Risk Management • Collaborate with the Risk Manager to identify potential risks and enforce safety measures. • Promote adherence to alcohol policies, hazing prevention, and other risk protocols.Administrative Tasks • Assist with preparing for chapter meetings, including creating agendas. • Oversee the chapter’s internal communication (group chats, announcements, etc.). • Organize and update key documents such as member rosters and meeting minutes. External Relations • Represent the chapter at university or inter-fraternal council meetings, if needed. • Help coordinate alumni engagement activities alongside the Alumni Chair. • Support philanthropic initiatives and external community events.Leadership Development • Mentor emerging leaders in the chapter to prepare them for future leadership roles. • Attend leadership retreats or conferences to enhance skills.
