As Executive Director, I am responsible for executing the mission and the vision of NLC in alignment with the Christian principles and governance policies that have been established for the agency - serving as the primary leader and ambassador for the organization and acting as the lead steward for all ministries and services of the camp. I am charged with leading decision making, influencing direction, and managing execution by engaging the full NLC community of staff, champions, partner churches, and key stakeholders in the pursuit of loving and accepting children and youth where they are and walking with them towards God’s best for their lives through a personal relationship with Jesus. This stewardship includes financial, operational, and spiritual dimensions. In this role, I serve as a catalyst for fundraising, key donor initiatives, and identifying new opportunities for financial support and revenue growth to support the ministry. As Executive Director, my scope of practice focuses on leadership and strategic impact; communications and outreach; board relations; operational and financial oversight; resource development; staff development; and organizational health.
