ABOUT BRAD VYNALEK

In my role as President of Quarles, I work closely with attorneys across our 13-office firm to leverage and expand our practice in key industries and markets such as intellectual property, research institutions & higher education, data privacy & security, ed tech, financial services, real estate, private equity, energy, and M&A. Through a passion for client connectivity and finding innovative solutions, I actively engage with our lead client contacts to ensure best-in-class service. As an attorney for more than 25 years, I have helped clients across the country and globe with work ranging from leading defense of high publicity, complex disputes to defending patent troll cases to providing lead edge guidance on data breach law to industry associations. Whether it\'s representing the financial services and banking industry in enforcement actions against commercial borrowers and guarantors or assisting clients with effective alternatives to litigation, including early resolutions, mediations, government relations, and media strategies, I strive to help my clients find collaborative, thoughtful, ethical, and efficient approaches to their legal challenges. The clients I work with include university commercialization offices, tech and software companies, start-ups, e-commerce, ed tech, manufacturers, socially conscious companies, health care companies, higher education, PE, and financial service institutions. I lead teams for the firm that specialize in patent and trademark prosecution, real estate portfolio acquisition, litigation, and solving an array unique business challenges with legal dimensions. In addition, I work on a variety of economic development efforts for my home state of Arizona in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Chicago, Southern California, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C, including my current role with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council on its Board of Directors and as Secretary of the Board. Likewise, for six years I co-chaired GPEC’s strategic planning committee. I also serve on the Teach for America Regional Advisory Board and just completed a two year term as Chair of the Board. Additionally, I formally and informally advise businesses across a variety of sectors.
