Responsible for lifecycle management of network consisting of 5500 computers and 100 servers for a school system of students in a Windows environment. Manage a staff of three network support specialists and 20 Intel (PC Tech) positions. Accomplishments included:• Launched and administered virtual environments consisting of VMware ESX and Microsoft Hypervisor to optimize and consolidate data center• Implemented and managed HP GS SAN and EMC SANs for clusters and VM Hosts• Managed and oversaw the planning for moving the central datacenter, involving 7 racks of 50 servers, multiple switches and routers, SANs, robotic drives and UPS’s• Created a training program for all network/PC technology positions which significantly increased the knowledge base of the personnel resulting in less service calls.• Implemented Aruba enterprise wireless system managed by redundant controller modules• Employed firewall/UTM migration between McAfee and Fortigate devices• Managed the migration of local Exchange infrastructure to Microsoft Cloud Services
