I manage a maintenance office and the operations of a sq ft. Hospital and 7 Off-Site Locations to include coordinating testing, committee attendance & meetings and contracted services. I ensure the compliance with Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), Ohio Department of Health (ODH), Ohio EPA, and all OHSA/ NFPA standards and work in conjunction with our Facility Director to implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with standards and regulatory agencies that manage the Life Safety Code. I assist the facilities director in planning maintenance activities and implementing a preventive maintenance program for buildings and equipment ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory agencies. I assist in the planning and organizing of the BAS (Siemens Insight and Disego), loss prevention, and utility management functions. Departmentally establish preventive maintenance schedules and prioritizes maintenance repairs to minimize disruption of hospital operations. I coordinate the contracted services, including grounds maintenance, snow removal, painting, etc. Ultimately, maintain quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards by assisting in directing and maintaining plant engineering capabilities of the hospital and developing programs for control and effective utilization of all utilities. I ensure Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) compliance (Sections 7, 11, & 13) with regard to policies, testing to include documentation and committee meetings.I maintain all department records, reports, specifications, and operation and maintenance manuals in conjunction with the Facility Director. I additionally assist in managing contractual vendors and expenditures (budgeting) for Plant Ops.
