About Bradley Loeding
Welcome to my small corner of the LinkedIn ecosystem. My formal education is in physics and applied mathematics. Since then, my passion has become mechanical design, engineering, modeling, and analysis. I am additionally proficient with imaging & non-imaging optics, automation, electro-mechanical systems, and pneumatics.I love instrumentation. Generally, my design philosophy might be summarized as:\"Simplicity makes the ultimate sophistication\". From the plain plastic grocery bag, to lifesaving paramedic equipment, a well engineered product or system has the least amount of complexity necessary to obtain its desired functionality. Additionally, a good designer will ensure the work his team does remains unobtrusive, effectively invisible, and yet empowering to the user / client.During my free time you\'ll catch me hiking, climbing, and enjoying our Seattle area\'s vast natural resources; experimenting with home brew antennas; carving and playing didgeridoos; or disassembling, desoldering, and hacking on consumer electronics for fun and profit.
