From packing beer to SaaS: A Nonlinear Path to Sales SuccessGraduated business school in 2018, packed up a U-Haul, and moved west to Vancouver with no plan, just drive. I landed my first job filling kegs at Steamworks Brewery. Four months later, the CFO noticed my business degree and offered me an accounting role.(I took it for the free lunch).A year in, I realized spreadsheets weren’t my long game. I pitched a brand-new sales role to the company president and got it. I booked events, automated my finance duties, and discovered a passion for connecting with people.After a short detour walking dogs (yes, really), I pivoted into tech sales at 25. Five years later, I’ve built a career I’m proud of growing revenue, building client relationships, and learning every day.Now, I’m focused on impact, helping others grow, live with purpose, and pass along anything I can.
