ABOUT BRAD BISCHOFF
Brad Bischoff is a writer and director born in Chicago based in Los Angeles. His debut feature film, GRASSHOPPERS, stars international superstar Saleh Bakri and was one of ten films selected to the acclaimed Gotham Narrative Labs before winning Best Feature (Drama) at the North East International Film Festival. It was picked up for distribution and released on Apple TV in January 2023. Recently named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” Bischoff holds a BFA in Film from Columbia College Chicago, is an alumni of the Telluride Student Symposium, and was the honorary recipient of IFP Chicago’s Member Spotlight which hosted a retrospective of his short film catalogue at the historic Music Box Theatre. Previous films have been staff-picked by The Atlantic, Vimeo, Short of the Week, YouTube, and Aeon.
