I solve problems and build things, whether thinking through the architecture and development of a secure deployment pipeline, or finding the way on an alpine rock climb. Currently, I design, develop, secure and support deployment pipelines and serverless infrastructure running in AWS - Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDb, ECS/ECR, Appflow, VPC, and supporting infrastructure (Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Security Hub, Load Balancers, S3) configuration. Tools such as Synk, Wiz, SonarCloud, help with automated scanning.My formal computer science background is paired with experiences running and managing business units in profit and not-for-profit organizations, where I have used Google Fusion Tables, along with open-source code, to map 200+ outdoor recreation sights to boost sales by 14%, and decreased data entry errors to ~1% from %30 by automating with AutoHotKey scripting language. Production deployments are non-events - smooth, secure, and repeatable.I’m a former ballet dancer, mountain rescue volunteer, and expert rock climber.
