About Brad Mikulecky

Brad Mikulecky is a Project Manager in Mead & Hunt’s aviation department in Scottsdale. Brad has his PE license in the State of Arizona. During his time with Mead & Hunt, he has worked on a growing list of projects at general aviation airports, Part 139 airports, and military airfields. Brad’s project duties include a wide range of tasks spanning from the initial design phase through the final construction and completion of the project.Throughout the design phase, he has been responsible for airfield grading, airfield geometry design, pavement marking design, pavement section design, drainage design, and electrical improvements. He has prepared plans, construction specifications, cost estimates, and bidding documents for different airport improvement design projects.In the field during construction, Brad has served as a resident engineer. Responsibilities include construction project management, submittal review, daily inspection of construction activities, field testing of completed work, preparation of progress payments, review of requests for information (RFIs) and contract change orders, completion of weekly Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reports, and final project inspection and evaluation.Brad has also completed planning and completion of Airport Capital Improvement Plans (ACIP) for general aviation and Part 139 airports to plan out future airfield projects and federal funds required to complete them.
