I’m an Environmental Consultant currently supporting major UK infrastructure projects, primarily in the rail and water sectors. My work focuses on environmental compliance, impact assessment, and programme coordination.Key responsibilities include: • Acting as Environment Lead on the Central Rail Systems Alliance, ensuring compliance with NR/L2/ENV/015 across five depots. I manage a team of around 10 environmental specialists and coordinate ecological subcontractors to support delivery of consents, licences, PMWs, and Work Package Plans. • Serving as Environmental Coordinator for Southern Renewals Enterprise, covering approximately 30 sites in the level crossing and miniature stop light portfolios. This role focuses on environmental consent management and ongoing compliance. • Delivering desk-based impact assessments during design and construction, identifying environmental constraints and recommending further studies and mitigation measures. • Coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments and overseeing the IEMA EIA Gold Standard Accreditation process at AtkinsRéalis, helping to maintain the company’s industry-leading reputation. • Supporting East West Rail Alliance as a Consents Coordinator, managing approvals and documentation required for project delivery. • Managing programme-level environmental deliverables for the Wessex Reservoirs projects, using Microsoft Project for scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
