Manage the Development Applications Teams that support validation, best practice and customer escalations.• Manage the Documentation Team that create and maintain all the Fluid\'s product documentation• Responsible for SR & ED ITC Technical Reporting,~$2M annual value• Engages BU R&D Directors to deploy SR & ED Reporting best practices, project eligibility self-assessments across all BUs and R&D Departments in Canada• Partners with senior management and other stakeholders to deliver the required Tax Reporting for Investment Tax Credit claims• Facilitates the periodic review of SR & ED project management across all Business Units and R&D departments in Canada.• Integrate R&D Teams from acquired companies into SR & ED reporting and best practices.• Assist VP, Tax & Treasury with review of Tax Incentives and Canadian Government R&D Grants programs.• Directs the response to CRA audit findings, corrective and improvement actions, working across all business units and Product R&D Departments• Coordinates and reviews Tax Filings T661 Technical Reports for CRA reporting requirement compliance. • Delivers SR & ED Projects Reports to Accounting in a timely manner for Canadian Tax Filings• Assist and/or guide R&D Directors, Senior Managers and/or R&D Staff - during technical reviews with the CRA - with project eligibility self-assessments - how to present arguments for SR & ED eligibility in a clear and concise written format compliant with CRA criteria• Prepare/review SR & ED technical documentation as specified by Government guidelines.• Prepare/review detailed accounting summaries for the SR & ED tax credits.• Perform internal Audits to ensure compliance with best practice SR & ED reporting requirements.• Initiates and coordinates periodic external review of SR & ED eligibility by engagement of SR & ED Consultants• Maintains awareness of industry trends and changing tax environment, providing input to strategic planning for R&D and Canadian Corporate Tax
