Field Support Manager in the Service MIssion Office of the Human Resource Department of the Church-The Church has a large mixed workforce in a few thousand operations around the world. Outside of Church HQ and Area Offices, these operations include Family History Centers, DI stores, Bishop Storehouses, Temples, Family Services, Welfare Farms and Plants, Recreational Camps, Seminary and Institute, BYU Pathways, Employment Centers and many more-20k+ Senior and Young Service Missionaries help accomplish this work-In addition there are hundreds of thousands of members who volunteer annually in these operations-Employees, Service Missionaries and Volunteers, this is the mixed workforce of the Church-To support the staffing of these operations and the nurturing of these missionaries, we have nearly 200 couples who are local leaders called Group Coordinators and Service Mission Leaders-The Service Mission Office at HQ has a dedicated team of Support Advisors who train, lead and manage these local leaders who are called and report to Area Seventy.
