My career with Merrill began in 1996 and is rooted in the values and work ethic instilled by loving yet tough parents, teachers, and mentors. Growing up in Chicago\'s northwest suburbs, my parents\' divorce inspired an appreciation for the female perspective which proved to be an influential factor in my approach to business. I attended Indiana University, graduated from the Kelley School of Business in 1995, and joined the Naperville, Illinois office of Merrill the following year. In 2002 I moved to New York where I reside with my wife and three children. I am a member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York and Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant* awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc, have received the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation**, awarded by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™, and am a C(k)P® Certified 401(k) from The Retirement Advisor University® in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education.
