Who am I?A proven real estate investment professional with over three decades of investment management experience. Participated in more than $10 Billion in public and private real estate offerings. A little bit about my journey: Started as a real estate investment banker providing private capital to franchisors and franchisees of national restaurant chains. After seeing the power of franchising, I became the youngest multi-unit Wendy’s franchisee. After selling the restaurants, I returned to my real estate investment banking with a focus on structuring high-quality real estate investment programs for both public and private investors. I served in executive leadership positions for several national real estate investment management companies specializing in non-listed REITs and 1031 DST offerings. After receiving the IRS issued Revenue Ruling 2004-86 in 2004, I was among the first sponsors to structure a multi-property DST Currently: Founder and president of Petra Capital Properties, a nationally recognized independent real estate investment planning firm focused on diversified and passive 1031 replacement property solutions for 1031 investors. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, fitness, motorcycles, and spending time with family.
