About Brad Taft
Brad is a bioanalytical chemist with deep expertise in nucleic acid detection, qPCR assay development, sequencing, and instrument systems integration. He enjoys wearing many hats, ranging from the lab bench to executive roles, while working in cross-disciplinary teams building products for the diagnostics and research markets. Following a PhD in chemistry, and postdoctoral studies in electrical and computer engineering, Brad has been working in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2006. His experience includes developing sequencers at Applied Biosystems and Complete Genomics, point of care diagnostic tools at NVS Technologies and MiNDERA, and environmental microbiome measurement systems at Phylagen. When he\'s not working, you\'re likely to find Brad on a bicycle or a hockey rink.
