About Braden Pomerantz
Hi everyone! I\'m Braden Pomerantz, the Head of School of Alpha Austin — an innovative school where students learn twice as fast and place in the 99th percentile in just 2 hours of core academics per day, spending their afternoons participating in life skills workshops. Across my three years at Alpha, I\'ve had the opportunity to lead a group of 5th-6th graders at Alpha Brownsville, open and run Alpha\'s GT School for Gifted & Talented learners, and lead a team of 28 Guides across two campuses and more than 150 students at our Austin location. My philosophy for education has always been about helping students excel academically, while also preparing them to thrive outside of school. This was born out my own interest in school coupled with the opportunities that opened up for me as a result of my 13 years of competitive public speaking experience as a competitor and coach.
