   As Project Controller, I lead the Project Accounting team at Aegis Sortation, overseeing all aspects of project financial management and process improvement across the organization. My role focuses on driving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability within our financial and operational systems.Key Responsibilities: • Lead project accounting functions, including cost management, forecasting, invoicing, cash receipts, project financial reporting and analysis, change order management, and POC revenue recognition. • Oversee job costing, project performance analysis, and take part in the full-year budget review and consolidation. • Develop and implement new financial and operational processes, ensuring robust documentation and compliance. • Partner cross-functionally to lead ERP and system integration initiatives that enhance visibility and efficiency.Major Achievements: • Successfully led the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the company’s new ERP platform, streamlining financial and project workflows. • Implemented Concur for expense reimbursement, improving accuracy and cycle time for expense processing. • Established Avalara for automated sales tax management, ensuring compliance and reducing manual effort. • Rolled out a new UKG payroll system to enhance HR and payroll efficiency. • Introduced a company-wide credit card program to simplify purchasing and expense management. • Played a key role in system setup, integration, and ongoing process optimization across accounting and operations.Through these initiatives, I’ve strengthened financial controls, improved forecasting accuracy, and built scalable systems to support Aegis Sortation’s growth.
