About Brad Edmonson
Brad Edmonson’s 40+ year business history combines a rich technology background with pioneering efforts in the entertainment, media, advanced analytics and e-commerce industries. Brad’s technical career began at Sprint Corporation where he gained valuable experience in key high-level systems automation positions. His work at Sprint led to many innovations in the systems automation world – some of which are still widely used today in large mainframe data centers.Among other achievements, Brad led the creation of a syndicated music television program and the Internet’s first music retail store focused solely on the rapidly growing and underserved Christian music vertical. The success of those ventures landed Edmonson in Nashville through an acquisition of Musicforce.com by Gaylord Entertainment which became the cornerstone of Gaylord Digital, the company’s Internet division where Brad became part of the executive team. Brad later co-founded PassAlong Networks, a digital media distribution company. PassAlong Networks was recognized as a leader in the digital media space and won several awards for its innovative products including an OnHollywood 100 Top Private Companies award. Edmonson co-founded Fivestone Partners in 2009 and stays active by helping early and growth-stage companies find their way. Lately, Brad has spent considerable time and effort pioneering technologies in the growing areas of artificial intelligence, Big Data analytics and predictive behavior modeling. Brad also works closely with the State of Tennessee’s entrepreneurial and economic development efforts and serves as one of the State’s Master Mentors. Brad and his wife Tracy recently purchased land south of Nashville to establish a working farm called Black Twig Farms, which enables customers to purchase shares from each years harvest.
