Hired as founding Executive Director from a pool of national candidates. Once hired, I oversaw the legal incorporation of the program and established the non-profit status. I have managed the growth of the program including establishing community partnerships, developing relationships with individuals and foundations, and hiring all staff members over the lifetime of the program.Steel City Squash partners with students, their families, their schools and their communities to help students become college ready upon completion of their secondary school careers. Through building off the successful model developed by the Squash and Education Alliance and the work that students have already completed, we encourage students to achieve at their highest level in the classroom, on the squash courts, and in their communities.
