ABOUT BRAD WEST

After numerous years, he joined the City of Broken Arrow in October 2001. With over 20 years of experience he has a strong knowledge of park management principles and budgeting skills, with the ability to create and guide the implementation of capital improvement plans and programs. Brad is a approachable leader with a proven collaborative style of management who invests in the team and leads by example, and is willing to actively engage in assisting other team members to achieve success. His primary responsibilities are City of Broken Arrow’s award-winning Challenger Sports Complex and nationally recognized Indian Springs Sports Complex. ISSC is a busy park with around 7,500 games each year. It contains 16 lighted baseball fields, 16 lighted soccer fields, 24 unlighted soccer fields, and 2 lighted adult softball fields. The park is a total of 234 acres including sports fields, native areas, parking lots, and general park area. Indian Springs has hosted numerous national, regional, state, and local tournaments. Often international participants as well. Brad is a Broken Arrow native and a member of the Muskcogee (Creek) Nation. He has a beautiful wife named Lacey and one son. In their downtime they enjoy working with their cutting horses.
