IE: Green-fields, acquisitions, and infrastructure or application upgrades.* Assists in managing the departmental budget by forecasting both capital and operational expenses as it pertains to projects and maintenance related efforts.* Participates as a member of the internal Change Control Board (CAB) to ensure internal processes and communications are followed, thus reducing risk to the production environments.* Negotiates vendor/consultant contracts and quotes while adhering to financial guidelines and fiscal responsibilities.* Creates, maintains, and executes organizational planning to optimize information systems.* Determines the most cost-effective strategy to eliminate unneeded redundancies, inefficiencies, and lower costs while exceeding customer service expectations from the business.
