As a Marine Operator, I oversee all aspects of voyage execution and post-contract activities for spot charters, time charters, contracts of affreightment (COAs), and ship-to-ship lighterage operations. Managing a dynamic fleet of liquid petroleum tankers, I act as a key intermediary between vessel owners and charterers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all stages of the voyage lifecycle.I am committed to being available at all times in order to support principles, vessels, and clients across all time zones, ensuring that operational needs are met at any hour.Key Responsibilities:Voyage Execution & Compliance: Analyze stowage plans, facilitate efficient voyage planning and timely issuance of voyage instructions. Monitor compliance with voyage and charter-party terms throughout the voyage and post-voyage lifecycle.Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve disagreements between contracting parties to maintain positive working relationships and ensure seamless operations.Vessel Vetting: Facilitate the vessel vetting process to ensure vessels meet all necessary criteria and compliance standards.Freight Calculation & Invoicing: Accurately calculate and verify charter freight and related invoices to ensure timely and accurate financial settlements.Post-Fixture Claims Management: Continuously monitor, track, and resolve post-fixture claims, ensuring all issues are addressed efficiently and effectively.This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance at every step of the process.
