I\'ve known Gerard P. Smith Insurance, now World Insurance, for 18 years. Since 2005, they\'ve been my trusted choice for home, auto, business, and cyber insurance, and I\'ve witnessed their enduring legacy and commitment. As of January 3, 2023, I\'ve embarked on an exciting new journey as a Client Advisor with the team. After two decades in the SaaS sports technology space, I decided to start a fresh chapter in my career. I sought a place where learning and client-centricity were paramount and found my answer in Gerard P. Smith. The agency\'s proactive culture and dedication to service excellence closely align with my principles. But life before insurance began with hockey, ultimately leading me to play college hockey, followed by a stint in the minors. Later, I dove into the software world. In 2015, our SaaS sports tech company was acquired by Sports Engine, which NBC subsequently bought. The journey was enlightening and gave me unique insights into what drives growth – attention to detail and problem-solving. Gerard P. Smith is not just an insurance agency; they are a partner in your journey. I learned about their exceptional service team from my early days when they covered my home and auto. Later, on the business side, our partnership grew, especially when my SaaS business secured a contract with USA Volleyball, which required specialized coverage. They treated me equally, ensuring I was part of the solution. I\'m often amazed by how some believe they\'re well-insured, only to find gaps when it matters most – whether in Commercial, Personal, Cyber, or Medical Malpractice. In our ever-evolving world, staying informed about and ensuring your coverage meets your needs is critical. Every day is an opportunity to educate, strategize, and serve our clients better. When not immersed in my professional world, I\'m an avid wake surfer with my two sons, downhill skier, and golfer (kind of). I cherish moments with my family.
