About Brad Young
My career in machining started in high school when my brother told me to take machine shop because it was an easy class to sluff. That it was, but I also had a great instructor that inspired me to choose machining as my career path. After graduating from Machining Technology at ISU, I landed my first job at a small shop in Star Valley, WY making air compressors. I quickly became the sole CNC machinist running three machines and programming. The shop was relocating to Evanston and I choose to move to Cache Valley, UT to further grow my career. After a few years as a machinist, an opportunity opened up in quality which I jumped on for a challenge to learn new skills. I was able to learn to program CMMs and had a hand in quality management. A few more years flew by working as an inspector and quality manager when an opportunity came my way to share my skills and knowledge with others. Now, I work with shop owners to grow their businesses by providing CNC machining solutions and leading sales engineers to do the same managing territories in Utah, Idaho, and Montana.
