ABOUT BRAD MCKENZIE
I have been practicing architecture for over 30 years and have worked on a variety of project types including retail, hospitality, medical, dental, public education, and more. I have been a guest lecturer at multiple public education trade shows on topics such as designing safer schools, FEMA safe room integration, understanding the importance of building codes, and next generation design strategies. Since 2017 my focus has been on planning and designing libraries, including work on over 40 different facilities. I have also been a guest lecturer at MLA, KLA, and PLA to present on topics including contract delivery options for new projects, lighting and acoustics, and public partnerships for expanded library services.As a partner at Sapp Design Architects, I am blessed to work with an amazing team of architects and interior designers, sharing knowledge, learning, and design spaces that enrich the lives of the communities we serve.
