   Responsible for managing electrical, fire alarm, elevators, and miscellaneous projects including planning, establishing a budget and schedule, reviewing drawings, and managing installation/construction. Leads project teams from project inception to completion. Serves as UC Health\'s subject matter expert for NFPA 70: National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E: Electrical Workplace Safety, and provides technical knowledge and recommendations in support of site Plant Operations & Maintenance. Electrical Project Management Provides overall planning and project management for electrical systems and equipment projects; coordinates design and cost estimate processes, establishes project budget and schedule, reviews drawings, and manages installation/construction. Coordinates activities between architect-engineer, contractor, and UC Health personnel such as the end-users, PO & M, D&C, Public Safety, and others involving contractor\'s site access, and utility/service interruptions. Primary contact with external consultants; providing technical or topical information, drawings, assistance, and problem resolution for project-related activities; development of design standards and specifications. Conducts regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment serving inpatient care sites; identifies and resolves issues. Reviews and recommends improvements for electrical systems and equipment preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis. Identifies and prioritizes electrical infrastructure needs and annual capital replacement requests. Coordinates development of electrical system and equipment studies and technical proposals for feasibility and cost; presents recommendations to management. Troubleshooting and repairs; determine the root cause of electrical systems and equipment failures and develops/implements solutions to stop recurrence. Leads in planning electrical systems and equipment outages and upgrades.
