Brad is a Senior Consulting Actuary at Wakely Consulting Group, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries In addition, Brad is a new angel investor with a keen eye for innovation, bringing a wealth of expertise to the table, particularly within the healthcare sector.Brad\'s extensive experience spans critical areas of healthcare finance and strategy, including CMMI/CMS Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives such as ACO REACH (Direct Contracting) and the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). He also possesses deep knowledge in all aspects of value-based care financial modeling and contract negotiations, strategic advisory support, Medicare Advantage bid pricing, provider shared savings settlement calculations, Medicaid rate analysis, financial reporting, value-based care deep dive analysis, reserving, and population health reporting.Throughout his tenure at Wakely, Brad has provided invaluable support to a diverse range of clients, including provider entities, private equity and venture capital firms, population health vendors, Medicaid entities, Medicare Advantage carriers, and CFOs across a variety of lines. This broad experience, combined with his passion for identifying and nurturing groundbreaking companies, positions him uniquely to support the next wave of successful healthcare and technology ventures both through his consulting and investing endeavors.Brad also works hand in hand with Leavitt Partners and Health Management Associates within their Strategy and Transformation team which supports client\'s growth and implementation strategies. This support ranges across clients at all levels in their start up journey.Brad is a frequent speaker at large conferences such as the Society of Actuary health conferences and National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) conferences.
