WORK HISTORY
Executive Coach & Leadership Development Consultant @Adaptive Talent
Vancouver, BC, CA
Adaptive Talent is a talent consultancy designed to help organizations achieve amazing results and ongoing adaptability. There’s never been a time in history with as much disruption, change, and opportunity, so preparing your people, team, and organization to adapt and thrive in this context is essential. I am the practice lead for assessments, executive / leadership coaching, and leadership development programs. I also collaborate on some of our leadership searches. I\'ve been privileged to work across many sectors, stages of growth from start-up (including two where I acted as their contract VP of HR) to successful large company, and have helped leaders deal with many different challenges. It\'s taught me how to balance a strategic approach to leadership and organizational excellence with a practical, results-focused partnership.I\'m also collaborating on executive coaching engagements with WJM & Associates and Talent Harbour.

ABOUT BRAD HERBERT
Brad Herbert is a certified Leadership Coach (PCC) with 30+ years in HR spanning multiple sectors, countries, fast-growth start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. He was the VP, Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness for Electronic Arts’ employees, and prior to that the VP of HR for its 15 worldwide studios. He’s been the HR Leader for two start-ups and began his career in Silicon Valley working at Netscape and EA during their hyper-growth, industry-transforming years. That intensity and diversity of experience has taught him a lot about a strategic yet pragmatic approach to culture, talent, leadership, and organizational development. Since 2008 he’s had the privilege of contributing to others’ success via his own company where he offers leadership assessments, coaching, and customized leadership development programs. Brad’s clients are leaders and executives who want to be authentic, happy, and capable in their work and personal lives, and who are committed to nurturing high performing, healthy, and adaptable businesses where people love to work. Promoted to a Vice President and relocated to a new country at age 35, Brad understands the pressure executives feel when trying to simultaneously execute strategies, develop capacity at all layers of the organization, and skillfully evolve their culture. These are exceptional times, and AI and robotics only accelerate the need for adaptability. Brad has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Michigan State University, a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and graduate of the Leadership Program from the Co-Active Training Institute, is certified as a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, and holds certifications in The Leadership Circle Profile, the Collective Leadership Assessment for leadership teams, the Leadership System, and Hogan assessments. He has a deep interest and additional training in adult development (the Immunity to Change, MindShift, and Inner Team Dialogue methodologies) and neuroscience. Brad is married, loves learning, writing, travel, dogs, and experimenting with AI, nutrition, exercise, and meditation. He is a member of the ICF Vancouver chapter where he was a finalist for the 2016 Coach Impact Award.
