ABOUT BRADLEY J. HAYDEN

I am an accomplished business advisor, corporate lawyer and Senior Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Calgary, where I have practiced law for 35 years. My professional background includes leadership, transactional and advisory work, strategy, management, client relationship management, risk assessment, governance and communications. I am organized, practical and solutions oriented. I work with businesses involved in mergers and acquisitions, domestic and cross-border reorganizations, corporate and partnership matters, and complex commercial transactions. I have advised large multi-national transportation and energy service companies, mid-market domestic enterprises, closely held private businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups. A unique aspect of my law practice involves railway law, including complex transportation contracts, railway network matters, railcar procurement and transloading transactions.I have had the privilege of serving in some unique roles with Norton Rose Fulbright Canada and one of its predecessor firms, Macleod Dixon LLP. These include:> Calgary Office Managing Partner from 2015 to early 2020.> National Management Committee in 2012, 2013 and from 2015 to early 2020.> Executive Committee of Macleod Dixon from 2007 to 2011, leading to its combination with Norton Rose Fulbright.> International experience with the firm in practicing and management support roles in Moscow, Almaty (Kazakhstan), Caracas and Bogota.> Seconded to Canadian Pacific Railway in 1998 and serving in the Corporate Secretary Office.I believe in giving back to our communities. I volunteer in the non-profit sector and currently serve on the Board of Directors of the Calgary Food Bank and the Children\'s Cottage Society. I also serve as director and officer (non-executive) of a number of private companies.
