WORK HISTORY
Elementary Principal @Wayzata Public Schools
Plymouth, MN
We have created a school culture that places the health, safety, and welfare of students first. We invest in positive and student-centered relationships as the foundation of all learning. Our team has high expectations for our students and each other. Our core values include collaboration and respect. We promote responsible risk-taking, innovation, and opportunities for all students to learn at a high level. We are learning together and increasing our capacity to meet students\' needs through the Professional Learning Community (PLC) approach. Our emphasis on character education is a testament to our commitment to teaching the \"whole child.\" We\'ve also implemented a fleet of Mobile MakerSpaces to support student learning and creativity. Our youngest learners have the opportunity to practice coding on a weekly basis. Our intermediate students interact with cutting-edge technology like drone technology, 3D printing, and video production to create standards-based content for an authentic audience. Our school community (including parents, local businesses, district, and PTA) is among the most supportive in all of education. They are truly a model of excellence, and their partnership puts our incredibly talented staff in a position to best serve our students. Our teacher-leaders continue to raise the bar and build each other up through powerful practices like personalized PD, equity team meetings, a literacy leadership committee, and more. If you are interested in \"forever learning,\" then Greenwood Elementary is a fantastic place to work and learn.I\'d encourage you to check out our district website (employment tab) for job postings and position vacancies often: on this page are my own.**
